#SBS23 Preview: Connectivity is critical

As we continue to see the events industry invest in the future of public safety, technology has a key role to play in saving lives, saving time and saving money. But what are the advantages of a connected person, in a connected venue, within a connected society?

Halo Solutions CEO Lloyd Major will look to the future, the opportunities and the risks of this joined up thinking in the Connectivity is Critical session at this year’s TheStadiumBusiness Summit in Manchester in June.

Lloyd has nearly 20 years’ experience as a police officer and has developed his expertise at the College of Policing, Emergency Planning College and Coventry University gaining skills across safety, crowd management and emergency planning. A career highlight was working in Tactical Support at the National Counter Terrorism Police Operations Centre between 2016 and 2019, responding to all of the terror attacks and extremist events during that time.

Lloyd moved from UK Policing to take up a role in security on the Organising Committee of the Cricket World Cup 2019 and then transitioned to become the CEO of Halo Solutions where he now leads the team in expanding their Halo software around the world.
