Dacia Arena – the modernised home of Serie A team Udinese Calcio – has garnered global acclaim for its commitment to sustainable energy practices.
The stadium’s utilisation of solar power, energy-efficient technologies, waste management, and promotion of sustainable transportation, has put the spotlight on the Italian club’s ongoing efforts to reduce its environmental impact.
In the management team leading these efforts, #SBS23 is delighted to welcome Magda Pozzo, Marketing Strategic Coordinator, Udinese Calcio for a one-to-one conversazione on the future roadmap and the ultimate sustainability goals.
A member of the club’s ownership family, Magda overseas all international sponsorship projects between the teams in the Pozzo Ownership Group, which include Udinese and the Premier League’s Watford FC.
Recognised as an innovator across the Italian sports sector, she was the first executive to deliver stadium naming rights in Italy when she signed the Dacia Arena (Renault Group) deal in 2015.
She strongly believes that a stadium must be “perceived as an incubator for different activities besides football and it must be shared with the community”.
We’ll discuss the club’s green goals but also its broader community efforts – along with other innovations across B2B partnerships and hospitality, for which she also has responsibility.
Meet Magda – and over 400 stadium sector business leaders from around the globe – only at #SBS23!
