Our Hospitality , VIP & Premium Section is already looking to be one of our best yet as we preview the first session speaker out of the blocks for Dublin – Head of Hospitality Operations & Sales from Formula E.

How do you create hospitality products for a completely new sporting experience? Our speaker will explore how the innovative electric street racing series is also innovating on traditional motorsports hospitality concepts. Introducing Charlene Nyantekyi, Head of Hospitality Operations & Sales, Formula E.

Formula E is the electric street racing series, bringing electrifying wheel-to-wheel action to iconic cities across the globe. Beijing, Miami, London and Moscow have been among the cities to stage races, with a number of other names waiting to be added to the growing list of host cities.

When 20 all-electric racing cars lined-up on the grid for the inaugural Beijing ePrix in September 2014, the cynics and the sceptics were confounded. With names like Prost and Piquet behind the wheel, and teams such as Andretti, Audi Sport Abt, Renault e.dams and Virgin Racing – the series attained a level of credibility to rival the best championships in the world.

The quality of the at-race experience was enjoyed by 391,000 spectators during season one, while there have been an astonishing 4.7 billion mentions on social media thus far. A remarkable achievement for a series only just entering its second season.

Charlene is leading the charge delivering Formula e’s premium events across the globe. Prior to her position at Formula e, Charlene spent 4 years with AEG Europe as Hospitality Director providing strategic plans, proposals and fulfilment for their European Live tours ranging from Justin Bieber, Alicia Keys to Bon Jovi and The Who.

Charlene was also integral for the concept and delivery of  the Barclaycard presents BST Hyde Park summer concerts which now in their 5th year and have become a staple of the London summer festival calendar. Arsenal Football Club is where her story began, working her way into a full time position, eventually becoming a key member of the team taking the Arsenal Hospitality proposition from Highbury to Emirates Stadium.
