We’ve been busy preparing a world-class speaker line up to mark the occasion, and are delighted to preview a new speaker for 2018 – Xavier Bartroli, CEO, WiZink Center, Spain.
Xavier is the founder of the Spanish branch of Octagon, a multinational company specialising in sports marketing and sponsorship.
He has more than 30 years of experience and has been a key factor in the company’s success. Since 2014, he has also served as President of Impulsa Eventos e Instalaciones, the private company in charge of the management of Madrid´s WiZink Center.
Xavier joins our specialist breakout session exploring the latest trends and challenges in stadium sponsorship – from commercial naming rights through to content and technology partnerships.
We bring together venue executives with some key brands to explore the expectations of both parties and how best to approach the evaluation and renewal negotiations.
In his role, Xavier oversees every aspect of the operation of WiZink, the reference arena for music, entertainment and sports in the country.
He directed the different naming rights processes the facility had to face, in 2014 and 2017, coordinating the strategy and achieving the best results. David led the incredible growth the WiZink Center has experienced in the last few years, putting it in the World’s Top 10, according to Pollstar magazine.
