The new four-star Hilton Garden Inn hotel has now opened adjacent to the Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground – and its playing host to TheStadiumBusiness Summit 2018.

The 150-room hotel will provide guests with pitch-side views of the action, with a ‘bedroom package’ to be offered allowing people to sample events from their rooms or balconies.

As well as staging domestic and international cricket matches, Emirates Old Trafford hosts music concerts and conferences.

Back in June, the ground hosted the One Love Manchester concert, which was organised to raise funds for those affected by the terror attack at Manchester Arena in May.

Simon Vincent, Hilton’s executive vice-president, Europe, Middle East and Africa, said, according to the Manchester Evening News: “Hilton is expanding its portfolio in locations across the UK, and now welcomes guests at some of the country’s leading sports stadiums, including The Stadium of Light, Ageas Bowl, Wembley and now Emirates Old Trafford.

“With more than 450,000 people visiting Emirates Old Trafford each year, we are delighted that Hilton Garden Inn is a central part of this superb destination for sports and entertainment, promising guests a great stay in the city of Manchester.”

John Greenleaf, global head of Hilton Garden Inn, added: “Emirates Old Trafford is one of the UK’s top sporting, music, conference and event venues and an exceptional home for our first Hilton Garden Inn property in Manchester.

“The hotel joins seven other Hilton Garden Inn properties across the UK and is an excellent addition to our portfolio of more than 740 properties across the globe.”

Emirates Old Trafford are set to host TheStadiumBusiness Summit 2018, and TheStadiumBusiness has exclusively reserved Hilton Garden Inn for delegates of the Summit on 12-13 June 2018, with many rooms over-looking the pitch.

With early bookings already coming in fast, we now have less than 20 rooms left at Hilton Garden Inn. Get in touch to reserve yours.

I had a great time and more importantly I learned a great deal. The networking alone was worth the trip but when you add the ability to come back and improve your business…well then you have a real winner

Your conferences are well run, well thought out, and well executed. I’ve been to many, and really appreciate the way you handle yourself. Well done.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, which isn’t a phrase normally associated with doing events, but it was really good and we have a lot of excellent contacts to follow up on.
