Ishveen Anand, CEO & Founder, OpenSponsorship

Ishveen Anand is the CEO & Founder of OpenSponsorship, the largest marketplace connecting brands to pro athletes for marketing campaigns. Ishveen, a former sports agent, started OpenSponsorship after seeing the inefficiencies in sponsorship and understanding how technology innovation could bring a much needed change. She is a graduate of Oxford University, and is originally from Manchester, now living in New York. OpenSponsorship is a backed by notable VCs and Angel investors including former NBA All-Star Baron Davis. They plan to develop solutions for teams, events and within Music in 2019.

Magnus Danielsson, VP International, Feld Entertainment Motorsports

As Vice President, International Motor Sports at Feld Entertainment, Magnus Danielsson oversees all international sales and marketing of Feld Motor Sports. During his tenure, he has led Feld Motor Sports to strong and steady growth internationally, opening up new markets and regions each year.

With a clear strategy and a large focus on international expansion of the organization, Danielsson continues to lead his team to maximize the potential of the business and move Feld Motor Sports productions into new, untapped markets.

Danielsson’s background is rooted in marketing and business management across the music, sport and entertainment industries, holding prior leadership roles as President at Touring Exhibitions, Senior Director at Feld Motor Sports and Head of Marketing at Live Nation Scandinavia.

Scott Jenkins, General Manager (Mercedes-Benz Stadium), Atlanta Falcons

Scott Jenkins joined Mercedes-Benz Stadium as General Manager in 2014. In this role, Jenkins oversees all operations for the stadium. Jenkins comes to Mercedes-Benz Stadium from the Seattle Mariners, where he spent seven years as VP of Ballpark Operations for Safeco Field. Before his role at the Mariners, Jenkins served as VP of Stadium Operations and Facility Management for the Philadelphia Eagles. He’s also held stadium operations positions with the Milwaukee Brewers and the University of Wisconsin. Jenkins is a pioneer in the green building movement in sports and serves as the President and Chairman of the Green Sports Alliance.

Mark Kelly, Managing Director, Ashton Gate Stadium

Mark joined Ashton Gate in 2015 after more than a decade working in the hotel and hospitality industry in senior management roles. He was involved in the £45m rebuild to transform Ashton Gate into a multi-sport venue and the largest conference and events space in the South West. In the last year he has seen hospitality revenue grow from £250k to over £3m following the two-year renovation project. During the last two years, Mark has evolved the matchday experience for both Bristol City and Bristol Rugby fans significantly driving matchday revenues and delivering more than £100k back to the fanbase through loyalty discounts.

Ben Veenbrink, Principal, The Stadium Consultancy

Ben Veenbrink has been active in the stadium industry for 20 years. Starting his stadium career with Philips Projects, he joined Amsterdam Arena in 2000, being responsible for their international activities. In 2005, he became the Managing Director of Euroborg NV, the owner of the 22,500-seat capacity Hitachi Capital Mobility Stadium and home of Dutch premier league club FC Groningen.

Applying the know-how and experience gained in operating and managing stadiums, in the planning and development of stadium and arena projects, was the driving force for him to establish The Stadium Consultancy in 2006. During the last 12 years, he and his internationally renowned team of consultants at The Stadium Consultancy, delivered more than 70 stadium projects over 4 continents.

Ben is a member of UEFA’s Expert Panel on Stadium Construction and Management as well as a consultant to the FIFA Forward program.

Andrew Daniels, CEO, Adelaide Oval SMA

With over 35 years of experience in major projects and event management, Andrew Daniels joined the Adelaide Oval SMA, the organisation responsible for the management of the South Australia’s iconic Adelaide Oval, as CEO in 2012.

Adelaide Oval, a world-class, multi-purpose, 50-thousand seat stadium attracts over 1.8 million visitors each year for Australian Rules Football, domestic and international cricket, rugby, football, major concerts and events. Additionally Adelaide Oval is a significant contributor to South Australia’s tourism cache with the award winning RoofClimb adventure and behind the scenes tours of the stadium. Come August 2020, this contribution will increase significantly when Adelaide Oval becomes the first stadium in Australia to feature an integrated hotel.

Caroline McEleney, Managing Director, McEleney Consulting

Caroline McEleney has been instrumental in the sales growth, strategy and management of the UK’s top motorsport venues and the two most successful premier division football teams in the UK.

Daniel Gidney, CEO, Lancashire County Cricket Club

An established sports industry CEO for over ten years now, Daniel Gidney launched the first ever cricket bond as part of an innovative £12m fundraising to develop and operate a new 150 bedroom Hilton hotel, which will open summer 2017. Daniel’s time at LCCC has generated record profits and the securing of the largest ever naming rights in First Class Cricket, with Emirates. He also secured ECB International matches, including an Ashes Test and a World Cup semi-final in 2019. Daniel was also the 2011 Midlands Business Person of the Year, and the 2014 Trafford Business Person of the Year.

Ian Nuttall, Founder, TheStadiumBusiness

Ian’s working life began in Sports Hospitality Events Management (including Formula One, horse racing and Wimbledon), before pursuing an award-winning career in B2B magazine publishing. He has co-launched and edited numerous business titles, ranging from
energy and industrial processes through to airport design and Intelligent Transportation Systems. He has also founded many of the sports sector’s most respected publications and news sources. In addition to his ongoing commitments as a sports business writer and speaker, Ian provides highly-valued, specialist consultancy to the sports and entertainment sectors.
