#SBS22 attendees are in for a double treat with our next speaker – Nick Sautner, CEO of The Eden Park Trust, New Zealand.
Nick has over 20 years experience in the stadium, event, and entertainment sectors, for the past two and a half years he has led an incessant mission to ensure Eden Park holds its place on not only New Zealand’s map but also the credit it deserves on the world stage. Nick has shown relentless commitment to increasing stadium utilisation through innovation, driving a number of new revenue streams and tourism opportunities.
So, what insights will he be sharing with us?
Nick will join the session on Content & Programming: Creating Events to Diversify – with the inclusion of G9, Eden Park’s unique golf experience. Golf, in a stadium? How many of you have taken part in this? Not many we imagine but, now you can experience a unique nine-hole golf course at Eden Park. With golf being one of the biggest participation sports in the world we can see exactly why Nick has chosen this arena to expand the stadium.
Additionally, Nick will join the Tech Investments – Making the Business Case session. Venues have changed dramatically over the years with many now being a technological and commercial platforms. From design to operations, stadiums are now looking to offer the best experience for fans. Nick will share his knowledge on fan-focused infrastructure and, more importantly, how to get those fans in the door and create revenue.
